ABOUT THE LOOK.
Inspired by classic European charm, this look uses a bit of imagination to give an unexpected piece a new purpose, creating a space that feels elevated and welcoming with just the right amount of luxe.
To begin this look, we chose the Gates Leather Bench from Arhaus. Even though it was designed for the dining room, we kept imagining it in a small vestibule at the front of the home. Picture walking in on a calm evening, the walls in deep, moody tones and the bench tucked into the vestibule like a quiet place to pause. It has the same feeling as a welcoming restaurant lobby, where the lighting is soft, the leather is warm, and the space naturally encourages you to slow down before stepping inside.
To carry the vintage-inspired feel of the bench through the space, we paired it with the 2 Tier Coat Hook, also from Arhaus. The dark finish and classic shape add just enough character, and it gives the space a practical place to catch coats and bags without taking away from the quiet mood of the bench.
Next, we added a chandelier that captures the elegance of old European interiors. The bronze finish gives off a warm glow, and the crystal accents add a soft sparkle we just can’t get enough of.
To finish the look, we brought in elements that add warmth and texture. The striped black and tan pillows add pattern without overwhelming the space, and the large clay vase introduces natural texture that feels grounded and lived in. Together, these pieces help the look feel thoughtful and well balanced. Combined with the warmth of the leather bench and the glow of the chandelier, the space carries a touch of luxe that feels unexpected, inviting, and memorable.
