A few weeks ago, we had a vintage wrought-iron plant stand in the shop that quickly found its forever home. We loved its graceful silhouette and beautiful detailing, so when we came across this one, of course we had to snag it for the shop.
With its delicate ironwork and timeless French-inspired design, this iron plant stand is the kind of vintage accent that brings that old, found charm to any space.
Originally, we imagine it was meant to grace the stone pavers of a romantic French-inspired garden or patio, overflowing with trailing ivy and sitting next to weathered urns and blooming topiaries. It's easy to picture it adding an air of effortless elegance to an outdoor setting.
But one of our favorite things to do is reimagine vintage pieces in unexpected ways. Rather than styling this plant stand outdoors, we couldn't help but bring it inside and let its sculptural beauty take center stage.

We love building an entire look around a single statement piece, and this Large Iron Plant Stand certainly commands that kind of attention.
With its slender silhouette, subtle twisted iron design, and decorative scroll detailing, this piece is striking all on its own. But when placed against an elegant soft white backdrop and classic harlequin-pattern floors, its French-inspired design truly comes to life.
In this look, we’ve chosen to pair it with a rather unexpected companion. Though not original to the stand, this XL Turned Wood Vase With Brass Ring Handles, which we sourced a few weeks ago, proved to be the perfect complement.
The warmth and organic texture of the wood beautifully balance the refined elegance of the ironwork, creating a pairing that feels classic and beautifully collected.
For added drama, we've styled the vase with two of our favorite oversized cedar branches. Their graceful, sprawling branches add movement to the vignette, standing out beautifully against the soft white wall molding and the subtle details of the framed sketch.
