About the Look.
This charming Vintage Wood "As Time Goes By" Wall Plaque sets the tone for the entire look, bringing warmth, nostalgia, and quiet character to the space.
Its classic silhouette and routed edge detailing introduce subtle architectural interest, giving the piece presence while maintaining an understated elegance.
We envision it styled against a soft white wall with traditional molding that elevates the sign and enhances its timeless, heritage-inspired appeal—allowing its warm wood tones and refined detailing to stand out beautifully as a focal point.
Next, we selected a striking Brass German Shepherd Dog Sculpture to layer into the vignette. Its generous scale lends substance and quiet sophistication, introducing a sculptural element that feels storied and classic—adding character without competing with the sign.
While we often gravitate toward smaller candleholders in our vignettes, this Set of XL Brass Candleholders makes a beautiful statement. Their impressive height introduces balance and vertical interest, and beautifully complements the warmth of the surrounding pieces.
Finally, we incorporated a timeless piece of Stoneware Pottery alongside volumes from our favorite Library of the World's Best Literature collection.
