We love the balance of old and new, but do believe it’s the older pieces that truly give a space character, depth, and a sense of life. For that reason, each concept board is intentionally left open ended, giving you room to complete the look with vintage and antique finds.

About This European-Inspired Bedroom Design.
The goal with this concept board was to create a tranquil, refined bedroom retreat rooted in cozy, European-inspired style.
To start, we chose a beautiful upholstered metal canopy bed. The arched headboard and slender lines of the canopy create a sophisticated silhouette, while the soft, neutral upholstered headboard adds warmth and a refined, elegant feel.
Next, we layered in the Jules rug from the Chris Loves Julia x Loloi collection. This timeless piece features a traditional blue and red oriental pattern, bringing just the right amount of contrast to balance the softer, more neutral tones throughout the space.
Beside the bed, we paired a four-drawer accent chest finished with brass hardware. Its traditional shape adds a sense of classic structure, while the darker tone grounds the space and brings in depth.
For the finishing touches, we layered two reproduction framed prints—a timeless portrait and a beautiful dock scene. They stack beautifully together, or can easily be styled alongside vintage or antique art for a more collected look. We also added a few fall florals, which we love using for the warmth and richness they bring to a space, especially in more serene, neutral settings.

Complete the Look: Curated Antique & Vintage Home Accents From Our Shop
Vintage and antique pieces remain at the heart of our brand, and we believe no space truly feels complete without them. This design showcases a balanced mix of the accents we reach for most when decorating, including lamps, candleholders, pottery, and sculptural objects.
First, we styled our Flora Lamp, one of our exclusive vintage lighting pieces. The Flora Lamp features a beautiful vintage marble base with a unique striped pattern, offering a warm mix of neutral tones. It comes paired with a new off-white linen shade for a fresh, updated feel, then finished with a hand-selected vintage brass finial to echo the ornate detailing of the base. Each piece in our vintage lighting collection is truly one-of-a-kind. Don’t miss your chance to snag one of these timeless statement pieces!
Next, we layered in a large brown crock. This vintage piece brings substantial weight and presence to the space. In this bedroom design, we envision it styled atop a vintage or antique Windsor-style chair or wooden stool, or placed on a dresser or fireplace mantel. Again, we paired it with fall florals (linked above) in a rich reddish-brown hue to subtly pull in the warmer tones found throughout the rug.
Lastly, we added a set of vintage brass candleholders, perfect for layering on a nightstand or dresser, along with a large sitting brass deer. The generous scale and unique form of the deer introduce sculptural interest and visual weight, making it a striking accent when styled on a nightstand or dresser.
