Believed to be early 20th-century (circa 1900–1940) craftsmanship, possibly antique.
The porcelain remains in beautiful overall condition, showing very minor wear, including a few pinpoint-sized chips and light surface scratches consistent with age.
Each piece has a small opening at the base, original to the construction as former lamps; this does not affect stability or display.
Some residue is present along the interior brass rim of both vases, possibly from adhesive used to secure the brass component.
Scratching is visible on the interior brass rim (see photos), with heavier scratching noted on Vase II (see close-up photo).
The ring attached to the ram head detailing on Vase II does not align perfectly (see close-up photo).
